Flooding is affecting low lying land and roads adjacent the river from Elmore to Sharpness. Other locations that may be affected include Chalford, Leonard Stanley and Cambridge. Further showers are forecast overnight tonight, 10/02/2020, with weather conditions continuing to be unsettled during the week. We are closely monitoring the situation. Flooding is affecting low lying land and roads adjacent the river from Elmore to Sharpness. Other locations that may be affected include Chalford, Leonard Stanley and Cambridge. Flood water could be deep and fast flowing, and therefore pose a risk to life. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. We expect river levels to rise until tomorrow 10/01/20.
