River levels are rising steadily on the Bristol Frome due to heavy rainfall today. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Bristol Frome, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Rectory Road at Frampton Cotterell from 08:30 PM on 04/12/2023.
Further light rainfall is forecast overnight. The forecast is generally dry for tomorrow Tuesday 05/12/2023. River levels are expected to peak in the early hours of Tuesday 05/12/2023 before falling steadily through the day.
We will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue or update this warning if necessary. We are monitoring defences and are checking rivers for blockages in the area.
