Tadburn Lake Stream
Water levels in the Tadburn Lake are high and rising rapidly. Heavy and intense rain has fallen over the last 24 hours with 38 mm recorded at Romsey. In the next 30 minutes surface water flooding may affect property at the top of the river near Jenner Way and Sewards Rise. This could occur as very high levels in the river, prevents water on land from draining into it. Rainfall continues to affect the area over the next 5 hours but is forecast clear by 15:00. River levels should start to fall by 14:00 today (16/02/20). Our operational staff are checking the river is free of blockages. For those who have pumps to protect property, please ensure they can operate. The forecast improves over this next week becoming drier but remaining unsettled. This Flood Alert will be updated at 16:00 on 17/02/20 or sooner, if we think property flooding will occur.
