The water level in the Tadburn Lake at Botley Road is high and rising rapidly. Heavy and intense rain has fallen over the last 14 hours with 27 mm recorded at Romsey. This is close to half a month's rain falling in a short period of time and is fairly exceptional. From 10:30 this morning (27/11/2024), surface water flooding may affect property at the top of the river near Jenner Way and Sewards Rise. Tadburn Lake Stream
The water level in the Tadburn Lake at Botley Road is high following 38 mm of rain which was recorded at Romsey yesterday. The water level is currently falling but today (Sunday 24/11/24) further rain (10-20mm) is forecast in Hampshire before Storm Bert finally clears the area. If rain impacts the river, then it will rise in response. Our operational staff will ensure the river is free of any reported blockages. For those who have pumps to protect property, please ensure they are working correctly. This Flood Alert will be removed by 13:00 on Monday 25/11/24.
