High water levels are expected at Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage and Tanneries Industrial Estate. Today and tomorrow (03/03/2020) are forecast to be fairly dry. Water levels in the Lower Meon remain high following rainfall over the last 24 hours, when 13mm of rainfall was recorded at Warnford. Fields at Titchfield Hill will be flooded. High water levels are expected at Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage and Tanneries Industrial Estate. Small amounts of rain are forecast over the next four days. On Wednesday (04/03/2020) further heavy rainfall is forecast. River levels will remain high throughout today (29/02/2020) in response to the rainfall over the last 24 hours. We continue to monitor the forecast. Please remain prepared for further impacts over the next 5 days. Water levels will be much higher than normal and minor impact flooding will continue. Water levels in the Lower Meon remain high. Water levels have fallen slightly in the Lower Meon valley following the rainfall yesterday. Fields at Titchfield Hill will be flooded. High water levels are expected at Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage and Tanneries Industrial Estate. During today and tomorrow (29/02/20) further rainfall is forecast, a total of 14 to 19mm is expected. Unsettled conditions are expected to continue into Sunday (01/03/20). Monday (02/03/20) and Tuesday (03/03/20) are forecast to be drier. River levels will rise again today in response to the rainfall, to similar levels as yesterday. Water levels are likely to peak this evening, and will rise again tomorrow (29/02/20) in response to the further rainfall. We continue to monitor the forecast. Water levels in the Lower Meon remain high. 9mm of rain was recorded at Warnford overnight. River levels are increasing slowly in response to the overnight rainfall, and will continue to do so throughout the day. Fields at Titchfield Hill will be flooded. High water levels are expected at Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage and the Tanneries Industrial Estate. The remainder of the day and overnight is forecast to be dry. Tomorrow (28/02/2020) and Saturday (29/02/2020) further rainfall is forecast, a total of 16 to 25mm is expected. On Sunday (01/03/2020) and Monday (02/03/2020) it should be drier, but unsettled weather is set to return later next week. Please remain prepared for further impacts over the next 5 days, as river levels will rise and fall. Generally water levels will be much higher than normal and minor impact flooding will continue. Water levels in the Lower Meon remain high. After yesterday’s rain, river levels increased slightly but are now continuing to fall. Fields at Titchfield Hill will be flooded. High water levels are expected at Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage and the Tanneries Industrial Estate. Today (25/02/2020), and tomorrow (26/02/2020) only small amounts of rain are forecast. This may allow the river to recover a little. From Thursday (27/02/2020) to Saturday (29/02/2020), 20 to 40mm of rain is forecast. If the maximum totals affect the river, then levels will be very high at the weekend. Please remain prepared for further impacts over the next 5 days. Water levels in the Lower Meon remain high, but they are slowly falling. Fields at Titchfield Hill will be flooded. High water levels are expected at Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage and the Tanneries Industrial Estate. Today (24/02/2020) up to 15mm of rain is forecast. This will see an increase in river levels and minor flood impacts will continue. Tuesday (25/02/2020) and Wednesday (26/02/2020) should see fairly small amounts of rain. On Thursday (27/02/2020) and Friday (28/02/2020) heavier rain is forecast. If the heavy rain affects the area on Friday, then levels could be very high at the weekend. From Saturday evening (22/02/2020) through to Tuesday (25/02/2020), 20mm of rain is forecast. This will see an increase in river levels and minor flood impacts are expected to continue. High water levels are expected at Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage and the Tanneries Industrial Estate. From today (20/02/2020) until Saturday (22/02/2020) very small amounts of rain are forecast. On Sunday (23/02/2020), up to 10mm of rain is forecast. Generally, over the next 5 days, river levels will rise and fall a little, but impacts should remain fairly stable. As some days will be relatively dry, the overall situation should begin to improve. Please remain prepared for minor flood impacts over the next 5 days. Water levels in the lower Meon remain very high, but they are now slowly falling. Today (Tuesday 18/02/2020) out of bank flooding will impact fields at Titchfield Hill. High water levels are expected at Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage and the Tanneries Industrial Estate. From this point onwards, any intense rainfall events are much more likely to cause surface water flooding in Titchfield High Street. Over the next 5 days, small amounts of rain are forecast each day, except on Friday (21/02/2020) which should remain dry. Throughout this week, water levels in the river will remain high and, will rise and fall a little with the rain. A continuation of minor impact flooding affecting land and roads is expected. Water levels in the Lower Meon remain very high, but they are now slowly falling. Today (Monday 17/02/2020) out of bank flooding will impact fields at Titchfield Hill. High water levels are expected at Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage and the Tanneries Industrial Estate. From this point onwards, any intense rainfall events are much more likely to cause surface water flooding in Titchfield High Street. Further showers are expected today (17/02/2020) and through to Thursday (20/02/2020). Until Friday (21/02/2020), we expect water levels will rise and fall. Minor impact flooding will continue. Water levels in the River Meon at Titchfield remain high but they have just stabilised. In the last 24 hours, over 35mm of rain has fallen in Warnford, which is nearly half a month’s rainfall. Currently there is out of bank flooding affecting land at Titchfield Mill, Titchfield Hill and near to the Tanneries Industrial Estate. Rain should clear the area by 17:00 (16/02/2020) but the river will remain very high over the next 24 hours. Tomorrow (Monday 17/02/2020), much smaller amounts of rain are forecast, but it will be enough to cause water levels to increase further, even if they do start to slowly fall overnight. Water levels in the Lower Meon are high and rising. In the last 16 hours 23 mm of rain has fallen on the River Meon catchment, as a result of Storm Dennis. Today (Sunday, 16/02/2020), out of bank flooding will impact fields at Titchfield. High water levels are expected at Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage and the Tanneries Industrial Estate. From this point onwards, any intense rainfall events are much more likely to cause surface water flooding in Titchfield High Street. Additionally, further heavy rain (25mm) is forecast over the next 14 hours. The river is expected to peak tomorrow evening, however, over the next 24 hours water levels could be exceptionally high. Our operational staff will be operating sluices and ensuring that obvious blockages are removed. Please take appropriate action to protect property, installing flood protection if you have it. Water levels in the Lower River Meon at Titchfield remain high and are rising slowly in response to the rainfall over the last 24 hours, when 10mm was recorded at Warnford. Today, the river will continue to flood fields and land at Titchfield Hill and Mill. Levels will be very high around Bridge Cottage and the Tanneries Industrial Estate. Today, further showers will affect Hampshire. It is unlikely that these will cause a significant rise in water level, and levels are unlikely to be higher than experienced on Wednesday (15/01/2020). From tomorrow (18/01/2020) the weather is dry for 5 days. This will give water levels a good chance to recover and this alert message will then be removed. Water levels in the Lower River Meon at Titchfield remain high, but are now falling. Flooding of fields at Titchfield Hill will continue. Today (16/01/2020), the forecast rainfall totals have increased, with up to 30mm expected. This is a large volume of rain and should that affect the River Meon, then levels will rise quickly and would be higher than they were at Christmas. Water could get close to properties. We will keep the river free of reported blockages and are balancing water levels. Over the next 24 hours, please remain prepared for flood impacts, especially at Titchfield Hill, Titchfield Mill and The Tanneries Industrial Estate. Heavy rainfall today could also cause road flooding in the High Street. This message will be updated by 12:00 on 17/01/2020, or sooner if we think property flooding will occur.

Water levels in the lower Meon are high and still rising slowly. In the last 24 hours, 24mm of rain has been recorded at Warnford. Levels remain high at Titchfield Hill, Titchfield Mill and the Tanneries Industrial Estate. The weather forecast today has improved, with any remaining rain clearing this morning and mostly dry for the rest of the day. Thursday (16/01/2020) afternoon and evening will see showers, in some places locally heavy, of 7-10mm. Friday (17/01/2020) and the weekend sees drier weather. However we expect water levels to continue to rise slowly today and will remain high for the next week. Out of bank flooding will continue to impact fields at Titchfield Hill throughout this time. This is not a large amount, but it follows prolonged wet weather, which has made the river sensitive to smaller amounts of rainfall. In the next 1 to 2 hours, levels will be high at Titchfield Hill, Titchfield Mill and the Tanneries Industrial Estate. Further rainfall is forecast tomorrow and each day until Friday (17/01/2020). Over the next 24 hours we expect water levels will rise slowly and overall, are likely to remain high over the next 7 days. Water levels in the River Meon are falling, following drier weather over the last 48 hours. Later today, it is likely that there will be minor impact flooding affecting fields, and this will continue for the next few days. Further rainfall, between 10mm and 20mm, is forecast today (26/12/2019) into tomorrow (27/12/2019), so levels at Titchfield are likely to rise, and be similar to those recorded last weekend. Be prepared for the river to be higher than normal for the next few days. We continue to monitor levels. Following the rainfall today and overnight, the forecast is for fairly dry conditions. Water levels in the Lower Meon, are high, but continue to slowly fall. Only a small amount of rain (1mm) was recorded at Peel Common overnight. Today and tomorrow, 25/12/2019, the weather will be fairly dry. On Thursday, 26/12/2019, another band of rain is forecast, which may cause the river to rise. Flooding to fields and roads is expected to continue over the next few days. Water levels will remain high around Bridge Cottage, Titchfield Mill and The Tanneries Industrial Estate. Water levels in the Lower River Meon at Titchfield remain high, but are now slowly falling. Today (23/12/2019), the weather remains fairly dry with only the odd light shower expected. Water levels should continue to lower. Overnight and into tomorrow (24/12/2019), further rain is forecast. If this rain affects the river, then it will cause it to rise. Christmas Day will remain dry, before another band of rain arrives on Boxing Day (26/12/2019). This week, drier weather interspersed with some rain, means that the river will continue to rise and fall over the next few days. Flooding to fields, roads and very high levels at Bridge Cottage, Titchfield Mill and The Tanneries Industrial Estate will continue over the next 5 days. The fields at Titchfield Hill will continue to experience out of bank flooding. High water levels will carry on affecting Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage and Tanneries Industrial Estate. From today, through the next few days, small amounts of rain are forecast. This should allow the river a chance to recover. However, levels will remain high for weeks. Given the current height of the river, any intense rainfall will cause surface water flooding in Titchfield High Street. Out of bank flooding will continue to impact fields at Titchfield Hill, with high water levels at Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage and the Tanneries Industrial Estate. Throughout Saturday (21/12/2019), further heavy rain is forecast with up to 25mm expected. If that rain affects the river, then it will rise and be higher than it was yesterday (20/12/2019). From tomorrow (Sunday 22/12/2019), the rainfall forecast improves. This will give the river a chance to recover, although levels will be high for weeks. Given the current height of the river, any intense rainfall will cause surface water flooding in Titchfield High Street.
