Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected to begin this afternoon 10/03/2020. Flooding is affecting properties and roads in and around Rotherwas Hereford. Predicted peak:- Old Wye Bridge 4.5m to 4.8m this evening 10/03/2020. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are erecting temporary flood barriers at Hereford and checking defences. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and move possession and valuables off the ground or to safety. Flooding is affecting properties and roads in and around Rotherwas Hereford. Old Wye Bridge river gauge has peaked at 6.11m this morning, Monday 17/02/20. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences and liaising with emergency services. Please avoid contact with flood water and move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety.
