River Frome
River levels are forecast to rise at the Bishops Frome river gauge as a result of forecast heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is expected overnight tonight into tomorrow morning, 09/01/20. Flooding is affecting low lying land and roads along the River Frome from Bromyard to Hereford. Other locations that may be affected include Bishops Frome and Yarkhill. -
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. We expect river levels to begin rising tonight.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are clearing weed screens.
