River Teise, River Beult
River levels remain very high but are beginning to fall for most parts of Collier Street, particularly those close to the Lesser Teise. The water levels on the River Beult have now peaked through Chainhurst, Hunton and Benover and river levels are expected to gradually fall during this morning, Saturday 7 March. The risk of further property flooding is now reducing in this area. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue throughout today. Please avoid contact with flood water and remain safe in the area of concern. Further rainfall is forecast for Sunday 8 March but this is not currently expected to lead to any significant impacts. This Flood Warning will be removed or updated by 11am on Saturday 7 March.

River levels remain very high but are beginning to fall for most parts of Collier Street, particularly those close to the Lesser Teise. The water levels on the River Beult have now peaked through Chainhurst, Hunton and Benover and river levels are expected to gradually fall during this morning, Saturday 7 March. The risk of further property flooding is now reducing in this area. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue throughout today. River levels remain high but are beginning to fall for most parts of Collier Street, particuarly those close to the River Lesser Teise. However, the River Beult will continue to rise slowly overnight and so levels will remain high in Chainhurst, Hunton and Benover. Peak levels may be slightly higher than those seen during December 2019. Please avoid contact with flood water and remain safe in the area of concern. This message will be updated by 10am tomorrow morning, Saturday 7 March, or as the situation changes. Further rainfall is forecast for Sunday 8 March but this is not currently expected to lead to further flooding.

River levels are forecast to continue rising as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is expected, particularly around Underlyn Lane, Green Lane, Haviker Street and Den Lane. No further rainfall is forecast until Sunday. We expect river levels to rise from the River Beult until 6am on 07/03/20. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are out on the ground and liaising with emergency services and our partners. Please activate any property flood protection measures you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers and move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. This message will be updated by 8pm this evening, 06/03/20, or as the situation changes.

River levels are very high and are continuing to rise on the Lesser Teise and the River Beult following persistent heavy rainfall yesterday. We expect flooding of properties in rural areas around Collier Street to continue into Friday morning. Peak flood levels are expected during 6am and 10am from the Lesser Teise, but river levels are expected to continue to rise on the River Beult until Friday morning, 6 March. We are closely monitoring the situation from our incident room and have had staff patrolling the area. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety, avoid contact with flood water and remain safe in the area of concern. Other areas may still experience impacts so please avoid contact with flood waters. Standing water may remain even if river levels fall during Friday. No further rainfall is forecast. This message will be updated by 11am tomorrow morning, Friday 6th March, or as the situation changes.

There is still a possibility of flooding to riverside and low-lying properties in the Collier Street area, today Monday 17 February. The peak at Stone Bridge gauging station has passed however river levels remain high on the Beult. We are monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are out checking our structures and clearing any blockages where it is safe to do so. Please avoid driving down flooded roads. There is still a possibility of flooding to riverside and low-lying properties in the Collier Street area. The peak at Stone Bridge gauging station has passed. River levels on the Beult will continue to rise steadily until this afternoon, Monday 17 February. We are monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking our structures and clearing blockages where it is safe to do so. Please avoid driving down flooded roads. River levels on the Teise and Lesser Teise are continuing to rise as a result of heavy rainfall associated with Storm Dennis. There is now a possibility of flooding to riverside and low-lying properties in the Collier Street area. Property owners with property flood resilience measures should deploy them now. The peak at Stone Bridge gauging station is expected this evening at around 11pm, Sunday 16 February. River levels on the Beult are also rising steadily overnight and will continue to rise until tomorrow afternoon, Monday 17 February. We are monitoring the situation. River levels in the River Beult at Stilebridge and the Lesser Teise at Marden remain high but will fall slowly overnight. Further rainfall is forecast later on Saturday 21 December which although may cause levels to rise for a short period, we do not expect them to return to the high levels seen on Friday. Residents should remain vigilant and avoid flooded land or driving through flooded roads. We continue to monitor the situation. After heavy showers overnight levels have fallen in the upper reaches of the Teise but remain at peak level on the Beult at Stile Bridge. This warning remains in force because of the levels in the Beult, closer to Yalding. It's likely that the levels will peak in Yalding and Benover between Sunday morning 01:00 and 06:00 am. Levels will remain high for some time. We continue to monitor conditions and are clearing blockages. We are operating the Leigh Flood Storage reservoir and expect to do so for some time. Residents should remain vigilant and maintain property flood resilience where required. A few heavy showers are forecast throughout the day before a band of frontal rain passes through between 7pm on Saturday, 21.12.2019. River levels will respond to this but it is not thought that conditions will be any worse than they were on Friday in Collier Street.

River levels have risen as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property and roads is expected to commence from around 11.30 am or noon today 20/12/19. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 4 hours, possible more. We expect river levels to remain high until early on Saturday morning, 21/12. There will be a period of dryer weather this afternoon. Further rainfall is forecast through Saturday, river levels will rise again in response. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris. Residents who have property level protection measures should check and deploy their measures now.
