River levels are forecast to rise as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is expected to continue. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for properties at Little Mill and the Branbridges Industrial Estate. No further rainfall is forecast until Sunday. We expect river levels to remain high until 07/03/20. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are out on the ground checking and liaising with emergency services and our partners. Please activate any property flood protection measures you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers and move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. River Medway, River Bourne
River levels have risen and remain high in the East Peckham area following the persistent heavy rainfall. Flooding is expected to continue into Friday morning, 6 March. There is still risk of flooding for properties at Little Mill and roads in the area may also be flooded. The heaviest rainfall has now cleared so we do not expect flooding to get significantly worse, but water levels are expected to stay high throughout Friday 6 March. We are closely monitoring the situation from our incident room and have had staff patrolling the area. Please remain aware of your conditions locally, particularly around Little Mill. Other areas may still experience impacts so please avoid contact with flood waters, standing waters may remain even as the river levels fall. River levels continue to rise as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is expected from 11pm tonight, Thursday 5th March 2020. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for properties at Little Mill. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 6 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation.

River levels are high and are continuing to rise quickly as a result of heavy rainfall today, Sunday 16 February. Flooding of property is expected between 3:30pm and 5:30pm for properties close to the river at Hadlow and Little Mill.
Rainfall is forecast to clear the area by 6pm this evening. We expect river levels on the River Bourne to peak at Little Mill by midnight tonight, Monday 17 February.

This Flood Warning is still in force. This update is to inform you of rising river levels in the River Medway in East Peckham. It is highly likely that the River Medway will start to flow into Old Road from Pinkham Lane. Also the river is starting to flow into Branbridges Industrial Estate on the island and into the light industrial areas on the south (Hop Farm) side of the river.
Our officers are on site now and assessing the situation. We have contacted the Police to arrange road closures.

We are storing water at the Leigh Flood Storage Area and have been since late on Friday, the discharge has been fixed throughout this time.

This flood warning is still in force. This update is to inform you of rising river levels in the River Medway in East Peckham. River Medway, River Bourne
River Levels have fallen since yesterday but are showing a slight response to overnight showers. However, river levels are continuing to rise in the river Medway and will remain high until late on Monday, 23.12.2019. Scattered showers are crossing the county through the afternoon and will be followed by overnight rain. It is not anticipated that this will cause conditions to be any worse than they have been over the last few days. Residents should remain vigilant as some heavy showers may be embedded in the frontal rain. We are checking conditions to ensure there are no blockages. The Coult stream dam is now nearly empty. We are operating the Leigh Flood storage reservoir and expect to do so until Monday evening 23/12/19.

Levels in the River Bourne are now falling at both Hadlow and Little Mill. We are impounding flows at the Leigh Flood Storage Area, and expect to release 75 cubic metres a second through Saturday 21/12/2019. Further rain showers are forecast on Saturday which could result in further increases in river level. The imminent risk of flooding in the catchment has now passed, but river levels will rise again in response to any further rainfall. Levels in the River Bourne at Hadlow are now falling slowly but may continue to rise at Little Mill. Levels in the River Medway are also likely to increase throughout the evening of Friday 20 December. Further heavy showers are forecast overnight which could result in further increases in river level. The risk of flooding in the catchment remains in force.
