Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this morning. Flooding is expected from 8:30 AM on 23/09/2024. Areas most at risk include properties on and around the Broadway Road. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one. Move family, pets and cars to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water if it is safe to do so. Weather conditions are expected to improve this afternoon. We are closely monitoring the situation and deploying pumps, people and equipment. River levels have risen as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding of property, roads and low lying land is expected imminently overnight tonight, Thursday 17 November 2022. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for properties on and around the Broadway Road. Peak levels will be similar to those seen earlier this month on 3 November 2022. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 6 hours until midday on 17 November 2022. We expect river levels to remain high throughout the morning. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris from rivers. This message will be updated by 11am on 17 November 2022, or as the situation changes.

River levels have risen as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding of property, roads and low lying land is expected from 12:30 onwards, Thursday 3 November 2022. We expect flooding to affect properties on and around the Broadway Road. Further rainfall is forecast to continue today, 3 November 2022. We are continuing to monitor the situation and our incident response staff are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris from rivers. The risk of further property flooding is reducing for the area around the Broadway Road and river levels should steadily fall throughout today. We are closely monitoring the situation. River levels on the Teise have now peaked but remain very high in Lamberhurst as a result of heavy rainfall associated with Storm Dennis. The risk of further property flooding is reducing for the area around the Broadway Road and river levels should steadily fall overnight tonight. However, property owners with property flood resilience measures should ensure their measures are deployed, and move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. There are some isolated heavy showers expected overnight into Monday 17 February, which could cause river levels to rise again if they fall in this catchment. We are closely monitoring the situation. River levels on the Teise have risen as a result of heavy rainfall associated with Storm Dennis. River levels through Lamberhurst are very high and are expected to rise again due to further heavy rainfall during the day today. Flooding of property is possible between 4pm and 8pm this evening. River levels are expected to fall slightly this evening but a second peak in river levels is expected in Lamberhurst overnight at around midnight, Monday 17 February. We believe there is a possibility of property flooding around the Broadway Road. Property owners with property flood resilience measures should deploy them now. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with flood water. We are closely monitoring the situation.
