River levels remain very high but have now peaked in Yalding at around 2am this morning, 07/03/2020. Flooding of properties at Little Venice Country Park is likely to continue until late afternoon today, 07/03/2020. As flood levels are expected to fall slowly, impacts on local roads, low lying land and vulnerable properties is likely to continue until Sunday morning, 8th March. We are closely monitoring the situation and have staff in the area supporting partners and the community. Residents should maintain any property flood protection products you may have and move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Please avoid contact with flood water and remain safe in the area of concern. Further light rainfall is forecast for Sunday morning and a larger band of rain on Monday evening but this is not currently expected to lead to any further significant impacts. This Flood Warning message will be updated by 7pm, 07/03/2020, or as the situation changes.

Flooding of properties at Little Venice Country Park and around the Tatt is likely to continue during the day today. As flood levels are expected to fall slowly, impacts on local roads, low lying land and vulnerable properties is likely to continue until Sunday morning, 8 March. We are closely monitoring the situation and have staff in the area supporting partners and the community. River levels are continuing to rise as a result of persistent heavy rainfall yesterday. Flooding of property and roads is expected to continue during Friday 6 March 2020. Flooding is likely for properties in the Little Venice Country Park as well as shallow flooding at The Tatt and Acott Fields. We currently expect river levels to peak in Yalding from 5am tomorrow, Saturday 7 March 2020. Levels may exceed those experienced at Christmas 2019, but we will continue to review the situation during the day and will update this message by 8pm, or as the situation changes. Residents with property flood resilience measures should deploy them. Our incident response staff are checking our defences and structures and we are working with partners to support the community. River levels are continuing to rise as a result of persistent heavy rainfall yesterday. Flooding of property and roads is expected from 5.30am and will continue during the day on Friday 6 March 2020. Flooding for properties in the Little Venice Country Park and for shallow flooding at The Tatt and Acott Fields is likely. Shallow flooding along Benover Road and Gravelly Ways may also be possible. We currently expect river levels to peak in Yalding between 4pm and 10pm today, 6 March 2020. We currently expect levels to be similar to those seen during Storm Dennis, but we will continue to review the situation during the day and will update this message by 2pm, or as the situation changes. Residents with property flood resilience measures should deploy them. Our incident response staff are checking our defences and structures and we are working with partners to support the community. River levels have risen as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Flooding of property and roads is expected from 7.30pm and will continue overnight into Friday 6th March. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for properties in the Little Venice Country Park and for shallow flooding at The Tatt and Acott Fields. Shallow flooding along Benover Road and Gravelly Ways may also be possible. We expect river levels to remain high throughout Friday, 6th March, but do not currently expect levels to be greater than those seen shortly before Christmas 2019 but will review the situation overnight and update this by 6am tomorrow morning, Friday 6 March, or as the situation changes. Residents with PFR measures should deploy immediately. Our incident response staff are checking our defences and structures. Please avoid contact with flood water and remain safe in the area of concern.

River levels remain very high but are now falling on the River Medway and the River Beult. Flooding of some properties and roads in Little Venice is still possible. River levels continue to fall and we currently expect to be able to remove this Flood Warning later this evening, 18 February. Flooding of low lying land and roads in the area is expected to continue around Yalding until Wednesday, 19 February. We are continuing to monitor the situation and are liaising with our partners. This message will be updated or removed by 9pm on Tuesday 18 February.

We expect river levels to rise during Sunday, with flooding commencing from around 7pm on Sunday evening and peaking around 7am on Monday morning. We are monitoring the situation. This warning remains in force River levels are falling through the catchment, but remain high between Yalding and Maidstone. The Leigh flood storage reservoir is now empty. It is anticipated that levels will remain high well into the morning of Tuesday 24/12/19. Monday is forecast to be dry but the occasional shower can not be ruled out. Weak frontal systems are forecast on Monday and Tuesday night with blustery showers embedded, another system is forecast for Thursday. The current expectation is that these are not likely to be as disruptive as last weeks rainfall. We are monitoring conditions. Residents should remain vigilant as catchments are saturated.

This message is being issued at 2.00pm on Sunday 22/12/19. Levels remain high and are likely to peak between now and 3.00pm today. The level is not expected to rise by more than 25mm. Levels are expected to remain high for some time after this as water drains away. We are continuing to monitor conditions and are clearing blockages. We are operating the Leigh Flood Storage Area and expect to do so until the afternoon of Christmas Eve. Residents are recommended to remain vigilant. We are working with partners to prevent traffic from passing through the village. The forecast outlook is for a break in the weather with light showers over the next few days. Rivers will rise a small amount in response to rain that fell on the catchment on Saturday night and Sunday morning. This message will be updated in 8 hours, or as the situation changes.

Following some overnight showers, its likely that the levels will peak in and around Yalding between midnight and 6am Sunday 21.12.2019. Levels are expected to remain high for some time after this. We are continuing to monitor conditions in the catchments and are clearing blockages where they are identified. We are operating the Leigh Flood Storage reservoir and expect to do so for some time. We are monitoring conditions through the catchment and clearing blockages where required. Residents are recommended to remain vigilant. A few heavy showers are forecast throughout the day before a band of frontal rain passes through overnight Saturday 21st to Sunday 22 December. River levels will respond to this but it is not thought that conditions will be any worse than they were on Friday in Collier Street.

River levels have risen as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of Little Venice is expected to commence this afternoon. We expect river levels to remain high until early on Saturday morning, 21/12/2019. There will be a period of dryer weather this afternoon. Further rainfall is forecast through Saturday, river levels will rise again in response. We are not currently operating the Leigh Flood Storage reservoir but plan to do so later this afternoon. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris. Residents who have property level protection measures should check and deploy their measures now. This message will be updated later this afternoon
