River levels are expected to rise as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding may affect low lying land, roads and footpaths along the Speringbrook Sewer in Hamstreet. Heavy rainfall is expected to continue into Monday morning and river levels are expected to peak on Monday afternoon, 26 February. Be prepared for further warnings and consider acting on your flood plan if you have one. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris from rivers. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads close to the Speringbrook Sewer, particularly around Hamstreet. Further rainfall is forecast until 1am on 28/11/2022. We expect river levels to remain high until 8am Monday morning. We are closely monitoring the situation.
