River levels are expected to rise as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding may affect low lying land, roads and footpaths along the Speringbrook Sewer in Hamstreet. Heavy rainfall is expected to continue into Monday morning and river levels are expected to peak on Monday afternoon, 26 February. Be prepared for further warnings and consider acting on your flood plan if you have one.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris from rivers. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 10pm on Monday 26 February, or as the situation changes.

River levels remain high but are beginning to fall. Flooding is expected to continue through today, Monday 28/11/2022. We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads close to the Speringbrook Sewer, particularly around Hamstreet. Further localised heavy rainfall is forecast for today. We expect river levels to remain high until this evening, 28/11/2022. Our incident response staff are actively monitoring the situation and are prepared to respond if required. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. River levels are rising as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding of roads and low lying land is expected from 9pm today, 27/11/2022. We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads close to the Speringbrook Sewer, particularly around Hamstreet.
Further rainfall is forecast until 1am on 28/11/2022. We expect river levels to remain high until 8am Monday morning.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are deploying pumps, people and equipment to the area and actively monitoring the situation and are prepared to respond if required.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.

River levels have risen as a result of Storm Barra. Flooding of roads and low lying land is expected from 9pm this evening Tuesday 7th December 2021 until 9am tomorrow, Wednesday 8th December 2021. We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads close to the Speringbrook Sewer, particularly around Hamstreet.
Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 6 hours until 01:00 on Wednesday 8th December 2021.

River levels have risen as a result of heavy overnight rainfall. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for low lying land and roads close to the Speringbrook Sewer, particularly around Hamstreet. This may start around 08:00 this morning. Rain is forecast to continue to 09:00 today after which it will clear somewhat with the occasional shower. Further rain is forecast over night tonight into Monday 27/12/2020. River levels will continue to rise for some time yet. You are advised to remain attentive and, for your own safety, keep clear of rivers. Please avoid driving in flood water as bow waves often contribute to property flooding.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking and clearing screens and patrolling catchments. This message will be updated later this afternoon.

River levels are forecast to rise as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding of roads and low lying land close to the Speringbrook Sewer, particularly around Hamstreet, is expected from 08:00 am and is likely to continue throughout today, Sunday 15 November. We do not expect flooding of property at this stage although heavy rain is forecast to continue throughout the day. River levels are now falling following heavy rainfall yesterday, Thursday 05/03/2020. Flooding of low lying land and roads is now expected to be stopping although standing flood waters may remain and river levels will be higher than normal. There is no further heavy rain in the immediate forecast so we expect conditions to continue to improve through today, Friday 06/03/2020. Please avoid contact with remaining floodwaters and stay safe in this area of concern. We will continue to monitor the situation from our incident room and will have staff prepared to respond if required.
