River levels are expected to continue to rise through the day on Monday and peak in Colliers Street on Monday evening, 26 February. Heavy rainfall is expected to continue into Monday morning. This Flood Alert will remain in force overnight tonight, Thursday 3 November 2022 and into tomorrow, Friday 4 November 2022. The Teise and the Lesser Teise remain high following the heavy rain earlier on Thursday. The river level is now receding sharply up at Lamberhurst and the peak is reaching Stonebridge and Spitz Bridge around 9pm on Thursday evening. The peak in the Yalding area is forecast to occur in the early hours of Friday morning where true Flood Alert conditions may not even be experienced. There will be further heavy showers overnight tonight and these will keep river levels high in all locations. Any flood impacts should be confined to fields, footpaths and roads but showers could also generate localised surface water flooding. This message will be updated again by 8am on Friday 4 November 2022.

A low pressure system will bring further rainfall tonight. You are advised to be attentive as further messages are likely. Please stay clear of rivers and flowing water. River levels have risen as a result of persistent heavy rainfall yesterday, 05/03/2020. The risk of flooding of roads and farmland is expected to continue throughout today, Friday 06/03/2020. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for low lying land and roads close to the river throughout the area, particularly near Collier Street, Laddingford and around Paddock Wood. No further immediate rainfall is forecast at this time but river levels are still rising from the rain experienced yesterday, flooding is expected to worsen until water levels peak later today. We are closely monitoring the situation from our incident room and have had staff in the area.
