Water levels are generally not expected to exceed that observed last Thursday and Friday in most locations, however there is a chance the overall water level in Yalding may be slightly higher. Flood Warning conditions are not expected for the Little Venice site. The Ensfield Road near Leigh will remain closed overnight. The Medway will peak through Tonbridge in the early hours of Sunday morning, through East Peckham on Sunday morning and in Yalding early on Sunday afternoon. River levels in the River Medway and its tributaries have fallen significantly this morning between Tonbridge and Yalding. However, flooding of low lying land and footpaths including Tonbridge playing fields is likely to continue as flood water slowly drains back into the rivers today, Saturday 19 November. River levels remain very high on the River Medway and local watercourses after heavy rainfall from Storm Dennis. Flooding of low lying land and farmland is expected to continue in Hildenborough, Tonbridge and rural locations towards East Peckham and Yalding until Thursday morning, 20 February. The Leigh Flood Storage Area has been storing flood water to reduce flood risk in Hildenborough and Tonbridge since Sunday and we expect this to continue until early Thursday morning, 20 February. We are continuing to monitor the situation closely. Our incident response staff are checking structures and clearing blockages where it is safe to do so. Flooding of low lying land and farmland is possible this evening and overnight into Saturday morning, 15 February, particularly in rural areas around Tonbridge and East Peckham. Our incident response staff are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris from the Medway and checking our defences and structures. Further light showers are possible overnight, but the weather conditions should remain relatively dry until Saturday lunchtime. Storm Dennis will bring persistent heavy rainfall from Saturday afternoon through to Sunday evening. Friday is expected to remain largely dry although Storm Dennis will lead to further impacts from Saturday. We expect river levels to remain high until 6pm on 14/02/20.

River levels have risen as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is expected from 07:00 am through today, 15/01/20. Areas of flooding could include Tonbridge playing fields and town centre car parks.
Further rainfall is forecast until midday after which it will be largely dry until Thursday evening. We expect river levels to rise until 6:00 pm on 15/01/20.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking our defences and structures and are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris from the Medway.

River levels have fallen significantly through the catchment but some roads and low lying land in the area remain flooded as they slowly drain back into the river systems. The Sports Pitches in Tonbridge remain underwater. The weather is expected to remain largely dry today but with a few isolated heavy showers possible. Christmas Day, 25 December 2019 is expected to remain dry.
Further rainfall is possible on Boxing Day, 26 December 2019 but we are not currently anticipating any significant impacts. We continue to monitor the weather and river conditions closely over the next few days, as the catchments remain very responsive.

River levels are falling through the catchment, but remain high in the lower reaches of the River Medway north of Paddock Wood and around East Peckham, this alert remains in force to account for this.
Today is forecast to be dry but the occasional shower can not be ruled out.
Weak frontal systems are forecast on Monday night with blustery showers embedded, another system is forecast for Thursday. The current expectation is that these are not likely to be as disruptive as last week's rainfall. We are monitoring conditions. Residents should remain vigilant as catchments are saturated.
