A FLOOD WARNING update has been issued for Banchory. Persistent heavy rain throughout the day has caused river levels to rise. Water levels are still rising but will peak shortly. Flood water will affect land adjacent to Dee Street Bridge and other low lying land adjacent to the river including the golf course. The models currently predicts a peak at around 11:30pm Friday. Levels will remain high but slowly drop throughout the night into Saturday. Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property.
