Waves are forecast to overtop coastal defences at Fleetwood, Larkholme, Broadwater, Cleveleys, Rossall Beach, Anchorsholme, Blackpool and Revoe.
Further flooding is possible overnight due to higher than normal tide at 02:08 AM on 21 October, combined with south-southwesterly gale force 8 winds and large offshore waves.

Further flooding is possible throughout the morning due to higher than normal tides combined with strong south-westerly winds and large onshore waves.

This Flood Alert has been issued due to the high tide forecast at 13:00 PM on Monday 12/02/2024.
Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected between 11:00 AM and 15:00 PM on Monday 12/02/2024.
Strong winds and spring tides may cause large waves and spray overtopping on the coast.
We are expecting higher than normal tides over the next 2 days and as a result we are likely to issue further alerts and maybe warnings.
Our incident response staff are closing flood gates and checking defences.

However, we expect Storm Eunice to affect the coast over the next few days, and with increasing spring tides, the effects are predicted to intensify. We are expecting to reach Flood Alert level again at the midday high tide on Friday, 18/02/2022, and we are likely to issue further alerts and warnings over the next 2-3 days, depending on the path of the next storm. This Flood Alert has been issued due to the high tide and waves forecast at 11:30 PM this evening, 16/02/2022, with impacts possible for two hours before and after this time.
Storm Dudley is forecast to bring strong winds, produce large waves and spray overtopping along the coast.
Flood Alert levels will not be reached tomorrow, 17/02/2022, but we are expecting to reach Flood Alert level again at the high tide on Friday, 18/02/2022, at midday. This is due to Storm Eunice, which is forecast to produce large waves and spray overtopping that will coincide with higher tides.

Tides will be at their highest between 23:00 on 11/03/20 and 01:00 on 12/03/20. Flooding to roads, coastal paths and low lying land is possible at these times.
However, conditions may apply two to four hours either side of the high tide.
Flooding may affect low lying land, roads and coastal paths in Fleetwood, Larkholme, Broadwater, Cleveleys, Rossall Beach, Anchorsholme, Bispham, Blackpool and Revoe. Further warnings are currently forecast to be issued for subsequent high tides.
