Flooding is possible 3 hours either side of this time.

Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected between 11:00 and 13:00.
Areas most at risk include Freckleton Marsh, Riversway Docklands, Lower Penwortham, Hutton Marsh, Longton Marsh, Becconsall Marsh, Much Hoole Marsh, Bretherton Eyes, Croston Finney, Hesketh Out Marsh and Hundred End.
Plan driving routes to coastal roads, which may be flooded, and avoid walking along low lying footpaths adjacent to the estuary.

This Flood Alert is in force for the high tide forecast at 1:00am on Sunday 01/10/2023. Areas most at risk include Freckleton Marsh, Riversway Docklands, Lower Penwortham, Hutton Marsh, Longton Marsh, Becconsall Marsh, Much Hoole Marsh, Bretherton Eyes, Croston Finney, Hesketh Out Marsh and Hundred End. With high spring tides, this situation is likely to be repeated for every high tide from now until Monday 02/10/2023. We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities. We will continue to monitor levels closely. Please be careful along riverside footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous. This Flood Alert has been issued due to the high tide and waves forecast at 01:00 PM on 18/02/2022, with impacts possible for two hours before and after this time.
Storm Eunice is forecast to bring strong winds, large waves and spray overtopping on the coast.
Our incident rooms are open and we are closely monitoring the situation.
We will re-issue alerts/warnings if necessary and our incident response staff are closing flood gates and checking defences.
Please be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous.

Water Levels in the Ribble Estuary are expected to rise as a result of high spring tides and strong winds.
Tides will be at their highest between 12:00 and 14:00 today, 12/03/20. Flooding to roads and low lying land is possible at these times. However, conditions may apply two to four hours either side of the high tide.
Flooding may affect low lying land, roads and coastal paths at Warton Brows, Freckleton Marsh, Clifton Marsh, Lea Marsh and Riversway Docklands. Lower Penwortham, Hutton Marsh, Longton Marsh, Becconsall Marsh, Hesketh Out Marsh, Hundred End, Hesketh Bank, Much Hoole, Bretherton Eyes and Croston Finney.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths near the coast and rivers.

Water Levels in the Ribble Estuary are expected to rise as a result of high spring tides and strong winds. Tides will be at their highest between 23:00 on 11/02/2020 and 03:00 on 12/02/20. Flooding of roads and farmland is possible, however conditions may apply two hours either side of the high tide. Areas affected include low lying land, roads and coastal paths at Warton Brows, Freckleton Marsh, Clifton Marsh, Lea Marsh and Riversway Docklands. Lower Penwortham, Hutton Marsh, Longton Marsh, Becconsall Marsh, Hesketh Out Marsh, Hundred End, Hesketh Bank, Much Hoole, Bretherton Eyes and Croston Finney.
Coastal conditions are expected to continue until after the high tides on Thursday 13/02/20.
