River levels will remain high through Lincoln as we continue a controlled release of water from the flood storage reservoirs as we make space for further rainfall later this week. No further rain is forecast today, however, further showers are forecast this evening and into Monday. We have been storing water in the flood storage reservoirs upstream of Lincoln. We are actively monitoring levels and are now having a controlled release of water from these reservoirs. This will cause levels in Lincoln to rise slightly during Sunday afternoon, our forecasts indicate that flooding to properties is not likely and therefore flood warnings are not expected to be issued.
