Following heavy thunderstorms we have seen levels rise very rapidly on Heighington Beck. This will lead to flooding of low lying land and roads close to the river. Our forecasts indicate that flooding to properties in Heighington is possible this evening and we may need to issue a warning imminently. We are constantly monitoring the situation.
