During periods of high tide, the river will be unable to discharge into the sea, resulting in tide lock conditions. This is likely to lead to localised flooding at Surfleet reservoir. This Flood Warning is now in force for the following tide lock period: From 23:00 on 07 January 2024 to 02:00 on 08 January 2024. This Flood Warning is now in force for the following tide lock period(s): From 18:00 on 23/02/2024 to 21:00 on 23/02/2024.
