Rainfall has passed through for the day (Thursday 13th June). River levels remain very high in the East and West Glens but appear to be levelling. The river levels have already caused flooding of low lying land and roads and due to sustained high levels we expect properties to be affected. Low lying properties are most at risk. A Flood warning has been issued for the East and West Fen Catchwater and the Maud Foster drain. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Further rainfall is forecast throughout the afternoon across Lincolnshire and in the area of the East and West Glen Rivers. Flooding of low lying land and roads close to the rivers is expected to continue. We expect the rivers to remain high overnight and throughout the rest of the week as the rainfall is forecast to continue for the next couple of days.
