Areas most at risk include Marine Point Leisure and Retail Park. Our incident rooms are on standby and we are closely monitoring the situation. Please be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous. This Flood Warning has been issued due to the high tide forecast this morning, 09/04/2024. Flooding of property is expected from 11:30 AM on 09/04/2024. Areas most at risk include Marine Point Leisure and Retail Park. We do not currently anticipate the Flood Warning level to be met during the high tide in the early hours of 10/04/2024. We are expecting higher than normal tides over the next 2 days and as a result we may issue further alerts or warnings. Our incident rooms are on standby and we are closely monitoring the situation. We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities. Please be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous. Due to high winds, there is a strong possibility for sea spray to overtop the coastal defences at Marine Point Leisure and Retail Park. Flooding is therefore possible for the areas around Marine Point Leisure and Retail Park between 13:00 PM and 14:30 PM on 18/02/2022. Due to high winds, there is a strong possibility for sea spray to overtop the coastal defences at Marine Point Leisure and Retail Park. Flooding is therefore possible for the areas around Marine Point Leisure and Retail Park between 11:00 AM and 11:30AM on 18/02/2022. Weather conditions are expected to produce large onshore waves. Our incident response staff will closely monitor the situation and will update this flood warning tomorrow afternoon, or as the situation changes.
