This Flood Warning has been issued due to the high tide forecast this morning, 09/04/2024.
Flooding of property is expected from 11:30 AM on 09/04/2024. Areas most at risk include Marine Point Leisure and Retail Park.
We do not currently anticipate the Flood Warning level to be met during the high tide in the early hours of 10/04/2024.
We are expecting higher than normal tides over the next 2 days and as a result we may issue further alerts or warnings.
Our incident rooms are on standby and we are closely monitoring the situation.
We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities.

Due to high winds, there is a strong possibility for sea spray to overtop the coastal defences at Marine Point Leisure and Retail Park. Flooding is therefore possible for the areas around Marine Point Leisure and Retail Park between 13:00 PM and 14:30 PM on 18/02/2022. Our incident response staff will closely monitor the situation and will update this flood warning tomorrow, 19/02/2022, or as the situation changes. Sea spray from large waves are forecast to overtop sea defences at Wallasey Embankment as a result of high spring tides and strong winds. Consequently flooding of low lying land, roads and farmland is possible overnight between 11:00PM, on 11/03/20, and 02:00AM, on 12/03/2020. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for Marine Point Leisure and Retail Park. Coastal conditions are expected to continue until after high tide at 03:00AM, on 12/03/2020.
