This message has been issued because some minor flooding to low-lying land, roads and riverside areas is likely through today, Wednesday 20th October. The River Mun is rising steadily in response to overnight rainfall. Areas most at risk are in Mundesley around Water Lane. We are not currently expecting the situation to escalate, or to issue any further warning messages at this time. The forecast is for continued unsettled weather over the next couple of days. Take care on riverside footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We will update this message by 9am tomorrow, Thursday 21st October.

This message has been issued because some minor flooding to low-lying land, roads and riverside areas is likely throughout today, Thursday 24th December. River levels are currently high, but are expected to start to drop back down to more normal levels later today following the rain overnight. We are not currently expecting the situation to escalate. The forecast is for showers today, moving into more settled weather over the next few days. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk. We are closely monitoring the situation and will update this message as necessary, and no later than 6pm on Thursday 24 December.

We are currently seeing higher river levels than normal in the area of Mundesley following yesterday's rainfall. The forecast is for steady rainfall throughout today and into this evening.
