This message has been issued because there is a possibility of some minor flooding to low lying land, roads and riverside areas through today, Thursday 16 January. River levels have continued to rise following rainfall on Tuesday 14 January and into Wednesday 15 January. The forecast is for further rainfall through this evening and overnight. Take care on riverside footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation and will update this message as necessary.

This message has been issued because there is a possibility of some minor flooding to low lying land, roads and riverside areas throughout today and into tonight, Tuesday 8th October 2019. We are currently seeing higher river levels than normal around Warham following this weekend's rainfall. Although river levels are beginning to fall they remain high and will take several hours to return to normal. We are not currently expecting the situation to escalate, or to issue any further warning messages for this area at this time. The forecast is for dry conditions tonight which will allow river levels to fall. Take care on riverside footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation and will update or remove this message tomorrow morning, Wednesday 9th October 2019.

The River Stiffkey is rising slowly in response to the rainfall over the weekend. The forecast is for no further significant rainfall over the next few days.
