Levels on the River Swale remain high as a result of heavy rainfall. The river Swale at Crakehill and at Myton Bridge peaked late on Sunday evening 17.3.19 and will continue to fall slowly throughout Monday 18.3.19. Flooding of property, low-lying roads and farmland remains possible. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please activate any property flood protection products you may have and avoid using low lying roads and footpaths. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring the forecast. River levels on the River Swale remain high as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding of low-lying roads and farmland remains possible this evening, Sunday 17/3/19 and into Monday, 18/3/19. The current river level at Myton Bridge is 5.7m and is peaking at around this level on Sunday evening (17/3/19). We are closely monitoring the situation.
