The flood warning for the River Seven at Sinnington remains in force. River levels are rising as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding is possible. The river level at Sinnington is 1.57m and will continue to rise overnight into Thursday 21/01/2021. Further heavy rain is expected until Thursday morning and we expect river levels to rise accordingly. Areas most at risk are properties in Sinnington. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and stay aware in case further warnings are issued. This warning has been issued as a result of rising levels on the River Seven after prolonged heavy rainfall during Monday. Levels are currently at 1.5m and are expected to peak at 1.9m around 1am.
