Areas most at risk are low lying land around the River Riccal and its tributaries including Bonfield Gill, Bogmire Gill, Ellerker Beck, Keld Spring Beck and Walmouth Beck. The level at Nunnington has peaked on Tuesday evening and will start to fall slowly through the early hours of Wednesday 26/08/2020. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services.
Please do not walk or drive through fast moving water and be aware rivers could rise very quickly even if it's not raining where you are.
