Heavy rain has fallen in the River Ise catchment. This has caused the River Ise to rise. Low lying areas near to the river are already flooded and we expect properties to be affected as well. Low lying properties on Kelmarsh Road in Clipston are expected to be affected first. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated online and on FloodLine on Tuesday 26th November, or before if the situation changes.

Heavy rain is currently falling in the River Ise catchment and will continue throughout this evening, Sunday 24th November. This is causing the River Ise to rise and is forecast to continue to rise through the evening. Low lying areas near to the river are already flooded and we now expect properties to be affected this evening. Low lying properties on Kelmarsh Road in Clipston are expected to be affected first. Further rain is forecast this evening, and therefore river levels will remain high overnight and for the next few days. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council.
