Heavy rain has fallen causing the River Ise to rise. Low lying areas near to the river are already flooded and we now expect properties in the Slade Brook area to be affected this morning onwards. Properties on Stratfield Way, Holdenby and properties in Kettering Business Park in Kettering are expected to be affected first. No further rainfall is forecast, and therefore river levels are expected to fall. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated online and on FloodLine on 26/11/24, or before if the situation changes.

Slade Brook
Heavy rain has been falling on the River Ise catchment over the past 24 hours, and is expected to continue throughout today, Thursday, 24th December. The rising river levels have already caused flooding of low lying land and roads in the area and we now expect properties in the Slade Brook area to be immediately affected and to continue to be affected throughout this morning onwards. Low lying properties near the river are most at risk. The river is forecast to continue to rise and the impacts are likely to last until tomorrow, Friday 25th December. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings, and avoid contact with flood water. Avoid riverside paths and please stay away from river embankments. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the Emergency services and Council. We will be closely monitoring the situation, and this message will be updated on Friday, 25th December, or as the situation changes.
