River Nene
Heavy rain over the last few days has caused the River Nene to rise. River levels remain high and will continue to cause flooding of low lying land and roads in the River Nene Valley area. We expect properties near the River Nene between Cogenhoe and Great Doddington to be affected. Low lying properties near the River Nene are most at risk. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated by Sunday, 17th of November, or as the situation changes.

River Nene
Heavy rain has fallen in the River Nene catchment throughout Thursday 14 November. This has caused the River Nene to rise and is forecast to continue to rise throughout Friday evening into Saturday, 16th November. The rising river levels have already caused flooding of low lying land and roads in the River Nene Valley area. We now expect properties near the River Nene between Cogenhoe and Great Doddington to be affected from this evening, Friday 15th November, onwards. Low lying properties near the River Nene are most at risk. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the Emergency Services and Council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated on Saturday 16th November, or as the situation changes.
