Waren Burn
High river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening. Flooding is expected on 27 January 2026 , from 6:30PM. Locations most affected will be Waren Mill. We are closely monitoring the situation . Start acting on your flood plan if you have one . This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 28 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
Waren Burn
River levels have risen on the Waren Burn due to persistent rainfall and snowmelt. Flooding is expected at Properties and low lying areas in and around Waren Mill, Budle Bay Caravan Park and Spindlestone Mill from 02:30 AM on 05/12/2023. Further rainfall is forecast overnight into Tuesday morning, therefore river levels will be elevated until tomorrow afternoon. We will continue to monitor levels closely. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
