River Till, River Glen, River Breamish, Wooler Water
River levels have risen at the Pawston river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. The main concern is on the Bowmont Water where we expect flooding of roads and farmland from 09:30 Thursday, 13/06/2019. Areas most at risk are riverside footpaths and low lying land and roads. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. We expect river levels to remain high throughout Thursday, with a gradual reduction in river levels overnight. We are closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated by 10:00 on 14/06/2019, or as the situation changes.
