Flooding is possible on the next high tide at 17:26 on 07/01/2024 at the Gainsborough river gauge. Areas most at risk are Beckingham Marsh and the A156 and the A631 Beckingham to Gainsborough Road.
We expect river levels to remain high on subsequent high tides.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and patrolling watercourses in the area.
Please be prepared to move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and have a bag ready with vital items like medicines and insurance documents.

Flooding is possible on the high tide at 04:45 on 07/01/2024 at the Gainsborough river gauge. Areas most at risk are Beckingham Marsh and the A156 and the A631 Beckingham to Gainsborough Road.
We expect river levels to remain high until after the high tide at 04:45 on 07/01/2024.

During the high tides, today, between 10.00 and 11.00 am and later between 22:15 and 23:15, also at 10:30 and 11.30 on 2nd October the river will overspill the bank into the Beckingham Marshes.
Areas most at risk are Lea Marsh, Gainsborough, Morton, East and West Stockwith, Trent Wharfage, Gainsborough Railway Bridge, Beckingham Marshes, the A156 and the A631 Beckingham to Gainsborough Road.
