River Trent
River levels at the Sandiacre river gauge have reacted as a result of Storm BABET. Flooding continues. Areas most at risk are Attenborough and Chilwell, including Nottingham Road.
The River Erewash is receding, however the River Trent is forecast to be elevated for several days
Further rainfall is forecast over from Tuesday. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area and liaising with emergency services.
Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and avoid contact with flood water.

River Trent
River levels are rising at the Sandiacre river gauge as a result of Storm BABET. Flooding continues.
Areas most at risk are Sandiacre, including Rutland Grove, Station Road, and Regent Street.
Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 36 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until 23/10/23.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area and liaising with emergency services.
Please plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and call 999 if in immediate danger.
