Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue, and flooding of property remains possible in and near to Islip where the River Ray joins the River Cherwell. The forecast is for a dry day today and overnight (18/11/19). We expect the river levels to continue falling slowly today. We are closely monitoring the situation. Therefore, flooding (of property) is expected in the next few hours (Midday onwards) in and near to Islip where the River Ray joins the River Cherwell. We are expecting a mostly dry day today (16/11/2019), however rainfall from the last week is flowing through the system raising levels. We expect river levels to rise throughout today with levels starting to fall back down overnight. We are closely monitoring the situation.
