River levels remain high but are beginning to fall on the River Ray at Islip following recent rainfall. Therefore, the risk of flooding to properties is reducing, but low-land, footpaths and roads will continue to be flooded whilst levels remain high.

We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are operating weirs to reduce flood risk and have been in the area providing sandbags to some at risk areas. Further sandbags provided by the local authority remain available around the village should they be required by residents.
