Flooding is expected to continue tonight (26/12/20), especially in the Enslow and Thrupp areas. A further band of rain is forecast overnight. We expect river levels to continue to fall, but levels may respond to further forecast rain over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Property flooding is expected. River levels are now falling steadily but remain high on the River Cherwell following heavy rainfall. Therefore flooding is expected to continue today (26/12/20), especially in the Enslow and Thrupp areas. Showers are forecast during the day today (26/12/20), with a heavy band of rain moving through tonight. We expect river levels to continue to drop steadily through today. Levels may respond to further forecast rain over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation.

Therefore flooding is expected to continue overnight (25/12/20), especially in the Enslow and Thrupp areas. No rainfall is forecast overnight (25/12/20). Showers are forecast during the day tomorrow, with a heavy band of rain moving through tomorrow night. We expect river levels to slowly drop overnight, but to remain high over the coming days. Peak levels will be higher than levels seen in November 2010 in the Heyford Bridge area and lower than those seen in July 2007 in the Enslow area.
