River levels have risen on the River Cherwell as a result of heavy rainfall last night and are still rising slowly. Therefore flooding is expected to continue this evening and overnight 24/12/2020, especially in the Enslow and Thrupp areas.
No further rainfall is forecast today (24/12/20) or tomorrow. We expect river levels to remain high this evening and overnight 24/12/2020 before starting to stabilise tomorrow.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff have been in the area clearing weed/trash screens.
Please avoid contact with flood water and activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers.

No further rainfall is forecast today (24/12/20) or tomorrow. We expect river levels to remain high through today 24/12/2020.
