Property flooding is possible. River levels are high on the River Cherwell as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Levels have started to fall, but the risk of flooding remains. We are expecting a mostly dry day today (16/11/2019) and tomorrow. We expect river levels to remain high over the coming days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Property flooding is possible. River levels are rising on the River Cherwell as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of property is expected to continue this morning 16/11/2019. We expect isolated property flooding to affect properties closest to the river. Levels have already started to drop around Lower Heyford, but are still rising around Enslow, Thrupp and Kidlington. We expect them to keep rising for the next few hours. We are expecting a mostly dry day today (16/11/2019). We expect river levels to remain high over the coming days. Property flooding is possible. River levels are rising on the River Cherwell as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of property is expected later this evening 15/11/2019. We expect isolated property flooding to affect properties closest to the river. Peak levels will be higher than levels seen in November 2010 in the Heyford Bridge area and lower than those seen in July 2007 in the Enslow area. Further rainfall is forecast overnight, but is forecast to be a dry day tomorrow. We expect river levels to remain high over the coming days. We are closely monitoring the situation.
