Property flooding remains possible. River levels have now dropped on the Sor and Bloxham Brooks following rainfall from Storm Bert. Further rainfall tonight may bring levels back up to the flood risk threshold and therefore this warning will remain in force overnight. Flooding of property, land and roads is possible overnight 26/11/2024. Areas at risk are those closest to the Sor Brook in Bodicote, and on Dog Close in Adderbury.
The forecast is for further rainfall tonight (26/11/2024) into tomorrow. Levels are expected to continue to fall this evening, but are likely to respond again to tonight's rainfall. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Have a bag ready with vital items like medicines and insurance documents. Therefore, flooding of property, land and roads is expected to continue overnight 25/11/2024. Areas remaining most at risk are those closest to the Sor Brook in Bodicote, and downstream of the confluence of the Sor Brook and Bloxham Brook in Adderbury. Levels on the Bloxham Brook have now dropped below the flood risk threshold.

Property flooding is expected. River levels are rising on the Bloxham Brook as a result of heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of property and roads is expected imminently 23/09/2024. Areas most at risk are properties on the roads backing onto the Brook in Bloxham, including Brookside Way, Aurelia Terrace and Greenhills Park. The Sor Brook is also rising, and properties close to the confluence in Adderbury, including those on Dog Close are also at risk.
Further heavy rainfall is forecast through this evening, easing overnight. We expect river levels to continue to rise over the coming 1-2 hours before stabilising overnight and dropping by morning.

River levels remain high but are now falling on the Sor and Bloxham Brooks as a result of heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding is expected to continue, especially along the Sor Brook and in the areas closest to the river in Adderbury.
No further rainfall is forecast today (24/12/20) or tomorrow. River levels have peaked and fallen along the Bloxham Brook, but are still high and falling slowly along the Sor Brook, with no further rise forecasted.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff have been in the area clearing weed/trash screens.

River Levels on the Sor Brook rose overnight and remain very high, we expect properties to be flooding in the area around Bodicote and Adderbury. Water levels look to have stabilised this morning and we expect them to start to lower through the day.
River levels on the Bloxham Brook rose sharply yesterday evening however levels have dropped back below the flood threshold overnight.
No further rainfall is forecast today or tomorrow. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are in the area clearing weed/trash screens. Property flooding is expected.
River levels have risen on the Sor and Bloxham Brooks as a result of heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of property is imminent, especially in the areas closest to the river in Adderbury. Peak levels are expected to be lower than the flooding in November 2012.
Further persistent and heavy rainfall is expected tonight, before clearing by tomorrow (24/12/20) morning. We expect river levels to start to drop before 23.00 23/12/20, falling back below the flood risk threshold by the tomorrow morning.
