River Ock
Property flooding is possible. River levels are rising steadily on the River Ock at Stanford in the Vale. This could be a result of a blockage in the watercourse. Our field teams will be out on site tomorrow morning to check and clear any blockages. Therefore, flooding of property and roads is possible overnight, 15/12/2023, especially properties closest to the river in the Stanford in the Vale area. Overnight and tomorrow is forecast to be mainly dry. River levels are expected to continue rising overnight. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. Do not drive through flood water. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 16/12/2023, or as the situation changes.
