Property flooding is not currently expected based on the current forecast over the next few days. River levels remain high on the lower River Thame but have been steadily falling over the past 24 hours. The forecast is for a dry evening (24/12/2019) and clear Christmas Day (25/12/2019) with potential for heavy showers on Boxing Day (26/12/19). We are closely monitoring the situation. River levels remain high on the lower River Thame but have been steadily falling over the past 24 hours. Todays forecast is for heavy thundery showers this morning, clearing this afternoon (24/12/2019). It will be dry tomorrow for Christmas Day (25/12/2019). We are closely monitoring the situation. Property flooding is expected. River levels remain high on the lower River Thame. Therefore flooding of a small number of properties closest to the river is possible. River levels are beginning to fall, but are expected to remain high over the next few days and sensitive to rainfall. Rain is expected overnight into Tuesday (24/12/2019).  We are closely monitoring the situation. Property flooding is expected. River levels remain high on the lower river Thame. Therefore, flooding of a small number of properties closest to the river is possible. River levels are stable but are expected to remain high for several days and sensitive to further rainfall. Today is forecast to be mainly dry before more rain moves in overnight tonight into Tuesday (24/12/2019). We are closely monitoring the situation. River Thame
Property flooding is expected. River levels are rising on the River Thames as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of property is expected tomorrow morning, 23/12/2019. We expect flooding to affect properties along River Gardens. Peak levels will be similar to the flooding in November 2000. Further heavy rain is not forecast today (22/12/19) or tomorrow, but there is a chance of showers which may be heavy at times on 24/12/19. We expect river levels to continue rising over the next couple of days as water moves through the river system. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are in the area today warning and informing residents. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers. River Thame
Property flooding is expected. River levels are high on the River Thame as a result of prolonged rainfall over the past few days. Levels are forecast to continue slowly rising as water discharges from the Upper Thame catchment. Maximum levels in Dorchester are expected to be almost as high as those in November and December 2009. We have one report that a property flooded on the High Street in that event. Properties closest to the river may need to take precautionary measures and move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Further spells of rainfall is forecast over the next couple of days. Levels are currently forecast to continue slowly rising. Maximum levels are expected to be similar to those in December 2012 with similar impacts on the ground. We are closely monitoring the situation.
