The risk of property flooding has reduced. River levels have started to fall on the Ginge Brook over the last few hours. Therefore, flooding (of property) is reducing in the Stevenson area. Further showers are forecast overnight and on Monday. The brook will be responsive to further rainfall. We expect river levels to remain high in the area. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff have been in the area clearing trash screens. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and move family, pets and cars to safety. This message will be updated in the morning, 17/02/2020, or as the situation changes.

Property flooding is expected. River levels have risen on the Ginge Brook as a result of heavy rainfall over the last few hours. Therefore, flooding (of property) is imminent, especially in the Steventon area. Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 18 hours. We expect river levels to remain high for the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are in the area clearing weed/trash screens. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and move family, pets and cars to safety. This message will be updated this evening, 16/02/2020, or as the situation changes.
