The B4393 near Llansantffriad Bridge, the B4398 near the canal at New Bridge Llanymynech, the A483 between Llanynmynech and Four crosses just south of Llanymynech and a number of minor roads in the Llansantffriad area could be affected by flooding. The River Vyrnwy at Llansantffraid at Meifod gauge is expected to peak between 16:00PM and 21:00PM later today (07/12/2024). We will continue to monitor the situation. Technical river level forecast information for those who use it; a peak level between 4.7m and 4.9m is possible later today (07/12/2024) between 16:00PM and 21:00PM. The B4393 near Llansanffriad Bridge and a number of minor roads in the Llansantffriad area could be affected by flooding. The B4393 near Llansantffriad Bridge, the B4398 near the canal at New Bridge Llanymynech, the A483 between Llanynmynech and Four crosses just south of Llanymynech and a number of minor roads in the Llansantffriad area could be affected by flooding. The River Vyrnwy at Llansantffraid at Meifod gauge is expected to rise until approximately 02:30AM on the 06/12/2024. The heaviest rainfall has now cleared this area.
