An updated FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Ettrick Valley. The Ettrick and Tima Waters are both rising rapidly after further heavy rainfall and river Levels will be higher than the levels reached on Tuesday afternoon There is a risk of flooding to low-lying areas near to the Ettrick Water including the B709 and B7009 roads leading to access problems along the valley. There is a risk of flooding to properties in Ettrick, Angecroft, and Deephope and Hopehouse Caravan Parks. Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property.This FLOOD WARNING UPDATE is now in force until further notice and was sent by phone and sms free of charge to registered customers of our Floodline direct warning service. A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Ettrick Valley. The Ettirck Water will be running high this afternoon after recent rainfall and snow melt. There is a risk to low lying areas along the Ettrick Water including the B709 which is likely to be flooded in parts. The access to Thirlestane Gardens property may be cut off and there is a risk to flooding to Deephope and Hopehouse caravan parks.
