A FLOOD WARNING update has been issued for Ettrick Valley. The Ettrick Water peaked at tea time on Tuesday and river levels are expected to fall through Tuesday night. Residual flood issues will persist into Wednesday. There is a risk of flooding to low-lying areas near to the Ettrick Water including the B709 and B7009 roads leading to access problems along the valley. There is a risk of flooding to properties in Ettrick, Angecroft, and Deephope and Hopehouse Caravan Parks. For Information: Scottish Borders Councils nearest Sandbag store is a locked store at Philiphaugh Rugby Ground in Selkirk operated by the Flood Support Group. There is another sandbag store located at the Fire Station at Shawpark Crescent in Selkirk. A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Ettrick Valley. The Ettrick Water is excepted to exceed its flood warning threshold around mid-afternoon today and peak around tea time. The rain is forecast to ease after 3pm and the river will gradually drop through this evening. There is a risk of flooding to low-lying areas near to the Ettrick Water including the B709 and B7009 roads leading to access problems along the valley. There is a risk of flooding to properties in Ettrick, Angecroft, and Deephope and Hopehouse Caravan Parks. A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Ettrick Valley. Water levels are rising on the Ettrick Water as a result of heavy rainfall and snow melt through Monday evening and into Tuesday Morning. There is a risk to low lying areas along the Etterick Water including the B709 which is likely to be flooded in parts. The access to Thirlestane Gardens property may be cut off and there is a risk to flooding to Deephope and Hopehouse caravan parks. A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Ettrick Valley. The Ettrick Water is rising rapidly following the heavy rainfall during Wednesday afternoon and will continue to rise into Wednesday evening. The rain is forecast to clear after around 8pm and the rivers levels in the Upper Ettrick are expected to have peaked by around 10pm There is a risk to low lying areas along the Etterick Water including the B709 which is likely to be flooded in parts. The access to Thirlestane Gardens property may be cut off and there is a risk to flooding to Deephope and Hopehouse caravan parks. Please do not drive through flooded roads.
