A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Galashiels (Netherdale). Rivers levels will rapidly rise in the early hours of Friday morning with levels peaking later in the day. Flooding is expected at Netherdale sports pitches and Heriot Watt due to river levels in the Gala water. Flooding is also possible downstream at the Waste Water Treatment Works. For information: Scottish Borders Councils nearest local sandbag store is located at the Fire Station on Abbotsford Road in Galashiels.
