A FLOOD WARNING update has been issued for Jedburgh to Jedfoot Bridge.
The Jed Water is expected to reach its peak level in Jedburgh around 3am and then will gradually fall through the remainder of Wednesday. No further significant rainfall is forecast. Flood Water may persist on low lying roads and land for some time.

Jedburgh to Jedfoot Bridge
A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Jedburgh to Jedfoot Bridge.
River levels are rising in response to heavy and persistent rain falling onto saturated ground. The Jed Water is expected to peak later this evening before falling through the early hours of Wednesday morning. A Flood Warning Update will be issued should the situation change.
Flooding of Pleasance downstream of Bridge Street and Jedburgh Fire Station is expected. There is a risk of flooding within Bankend Industrial Estate.
