The Jed Water is rising and is forecast to exceed the floodwarning threshold, peaking later on Sunday evening and staying high into Monday morning Flooding along Pleasance downstream of Bridge Street and Fire Station is expected. Risk of flooding within Bankend Industrial Estate. Risk of flooding within Bongate and on the right bank at the Caravan Park. Flooding of the Rugby Club is also likely and there is a risk to the sewage treatment works.
