River levels remain high but are continuing to fall at the Bradford on Avon river gauge as a result of the rainfall from Storm Dennis over the weekend. Consequently, the risk of flooding is reducing. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for properties at Melksham and Limpley Stoke. The risk of flooding from Storm Dennis has now reduced. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and see the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast. This message will be updated Wednesday morning, 19/02/20, or as the situation changes.

River levels are slowly continuing to fall tonight 17/02/20 but be aware river levels still remain high and we believe there is still a possibility of flooding for properties at Melksham and Limpley Stoke. This flood warning will remain active throughout tonight Monday the 17/02/20. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff continue to check defences and have been clearing weed screens. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and can owners with property flood resilience equipment install it now.
