Doniford Stream
The river level on the Doniford Stream is continuing to rise due to the prolonged and significant rainfall during today, Sunday, 25/02/2024. Further flooding is possible from 9pm tonight. Flooding will continue to affect locations near the Doniford Stream, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around properties at Swill Bridge. The rainfall is expected to continue into this evening until around 11pm with drier weather forecast for Monday and Tuesday. We will continue to monitor the rainfall and water levels closely. Consider acting on your flood plan if you have one, and activating any property flood protection products you have. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions, and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 2pm on Monday, 26/02/2024, or as the situation changes.
