Somerset Frome, Rodden Brook

River levels are rising quickly on the Somerset Frome due to heavy rainfall. This Flood Warning has been issued because the threshold is forecast to be exceeded this evening. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Somerset Frome, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Feltham Lane and Wallbridge. River levels are forecast to remain high with further rain due in the early hours of the morning at the Frome Rodden Railway Br, Tellisford gauge. We are clearing debris from weed screens in the area and we will continue to monitor levels closely. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
