Further flooding is expected this afternoon as river levels are expected to remain high, due to today's heavy rainfall. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels closely. The river levels are rising on the River Tone due to prolonged rainfall during today, Sunday, 25/02/24. Flooding is forecast from midnight tonight. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Tone, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Ham Mills at Coalharbour Bridge. The rainfall is expected to continue until about 11pm tonight and then drier weather is forecast for Monday and Tuesday. We will continue to monitor the rainfall and water levels closely. Consider acting on your flood plan if you have one, and activating any property flood protection products you have. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions, and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 2pm on Monday, 26/02/2024, or as the situation changes.

Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Tone, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Ham Mills at Coalharbour Bridge.. River levels are expected to remain high and flooding of properties and roads will continue. Further rainfall is forecast overnight and into tomorrow. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. This message will be updated by 12:00 noon on 05/12/2023, or as the situation changes.

River levels are rising on the River Tone due to Storm Ciaran. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Tone, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Ham Mills at Coalharbour Bridge. Further rainfall is forecast this afternoon. River levels shall remain high at the Bishops Hull and Taunton Market gauges. We have deployed the temporary pump in the Bathpool area. Consider activating any property flood protection products. Our incident rooms are open and we are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. We are aware that some river level telemetry data are not appearing or being updated on the gov.uk website. We are sorry about this and are working hard to resolve this as soon as possible. River levels have risen at the Bishops Hull river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall earlier today. Consequently, flooding could occur tonight, into the early hours of Friday, 20/12/19. We believe there is a possibility of flooding affecting the Rugby Ground, Husk Farm, Mill Cottages, the Sewage Treatment Works and Ham Mills at Coalharbour Bridge. Further rainfall is also forecast tonight until about 03:00 am Friday. We expect river levels to remain high until late morning of Friday 20/12/19. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking river channels and defences, and clearing debris. Please move family, pets and cars to safety, move possessions and valuables off the ground, and avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 20/12/19, or as the situation changes.
