River levels are forecast to rise at the Vallis river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall overnight associated with Storm Dennis. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for Feltham Lane at Frome, the A362 at Wallbridge, the access road to Peradins at Freshford and the Westwood to Freshford road. Bankfull conditions are forecast at Farleigh Hungerford with a risk to property at Nunney, Vobster and Spring Gardens near Frome. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 8 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and see the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast. This message will be updated this evening, Sunday 16/02/20, or as the situation changes.

River levels are forecast to rise at the Frome Rodden Railway Bridge, Vallis and Tellisford river gauges as a result of heavy and persistent rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is possible between 01:00 and 13:00 tomorrow, 19/12/2019. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for Feltham Lane at Frome, the A362 at Wallbridge, the access road to Peradins at Freshford and the Westwood to Freshford road. Bankfull conditions are forecast at Farleigh Hungerford with possible risk to property at Nunney, Vobster and Spring Gardens near Frome. Further heavy showers are forecast over the next 48 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until the weekend. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. River levels are forecast to rise at the Tellisford river gauge as a result of heavy showery rainfall this evening. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is possible between 21:30 and 01:00 tomorrow,16/12/19. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for Feltham Lane at Frome, the A362 at Wallbridge, the access road to Peradins at Freshford and the Westwood to Freshford road. Bankfull conditions are forecast at Farleigh Hungerford with a risk to property at Nunney, Vobster and Spring Gardens near Frome. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are clearing weed screens. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. River levels are forecast to rise at the Frome Rodden Railway Br river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property/roads and farmland is possible between 8pm this evening and 9am tomorrow, 29/09/19. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for Feltham Lane at Frome, the A362 at Wallbridge, the access road to Peradins at Freshford and the Westwood to Freshford road. Bankfull conditions are forecast at Farleigh Hungerford with a risk to property at Nunney, Vobster and Spring Gardens near Frome. Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 14 hours. River levels can rise very quickly in response to heavy rainfall. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please stay aware in case further warnings are issued and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
