The forecast high water is at 08:00 AM on 09/04/2024 with a level of 7.12 mAODN with westerly force 8 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level - for more info refer to local tide tables.) Our incident response staff are closing flood gates and checking defences. We continue to monitor levels closely. The forecast is for rain in the early hours of Tuesday morning. After this tide‚ the weather is more settled and no further impacts are expected. The forecast tide height is predicted to be lower than those reached on Wednesday evening. Overtopping and onshore flooding may occur as a result of high water levels combined with high energy waves. The time and date of the forecast high water is 06:45 on 23/02/2020. The forecast tide level is 6.18 m AOD. The forecast wind strength and direction is Force 7 West South Westerly. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for coastal areas at Dunster Beaches, Blue Anchor, Steart, Stolford and Brean. Flooding of properties is not forecast at this point. Strong onshore winds may cause tide levels to rise further. Our incident response staff will closely monitor the situation along this coastline. Please stay aware in case further warnings are issued. Strong winds during high tide may cause sea spray overtopping along the coast for a few hours either side of high tide this Saturday evening, 11/01/2020. The forecast wind is Force 7 South South-West. The forecast high water is at 19:15 on 11/01/2020 with a forecast tide level of 5.94 m AOD. The possibility of flooding is forecast to mainly affect coastal areas at Dunster Beaches. Flooding of properties is not forecast at this point Please note all tide times are in local time and refer to the high water time at Hinkley Point. Please be careful along beaches, promenades and coastal footpaths and roads.
