River levels have risen at the Swindon river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall throughout today 23/10/2022. Consequently, flooding to property is possible overnight and into tomorrow morning (24/10/22). Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until Monday 24/10/22.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast and clearing weed screens.
Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers. Avoid contact with flood water and call 999 if in immediate danger. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 24/10/2022, or as the situation changes.

River levels remain high at the Swindon river gauge as a result of the persistent heavy rainfall from Storm Dennis. Consequently, the risk of flooding of property remains. River Levels are expected to drop tomorrow Monday 17/02/20. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and bridges near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
